Compeer matches caring adults in one-to-one friendships with people of the same gender who are in mental health recovery. CompeerCORPS program is a supportive network for veterans who can benefit from a veteran peer mentor and other community relationships.
Serves primarily adults 18+. Evaluates individuals seeking payment for nursing home care and in-home care. May contract to assist with home health aides, nurses, and adaptive equipment. Volunteers placed in schools, local agencies, Meals-on-Wheels, visiting with homebound seniors, consulting with nonprofits and virtual opportunities in tutoring students & veterans.
