Call 2-1-1 to Connect  With Human Services

 

What is 2-1-1?

  • 2-1-1 is a free call (website available at www.211sepa.org)
  • Connecting people to health and human services in Southeastern PA (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties)
  • 2-1-1 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    TTY and multilingual services are available

 

When to use 2-1-1

Call 2-1-1 for information and referrals for:

  • Basic human needs resources: food banks, shelters, rent assistance, utility assistance
  • Physical and mental health resources: crisis intervention services, support groups, counseling
    Employment supports: financial assistance, job training, education programs
  • Supports for seniors and persons with disabilities: Meals on Wheels, home health care, transportation, homemaker services
  • Supports for children, youth, and families: childcare, afterschool programs, summer camps and recreation programs, mentoring, tutoring, protective services

Do not call 2-1-1 for life-threatening situations or emergency situations. Call 9-1-1 first in emergencies!
